There was always something different about the start of a week ending with a game on Friday or Saturday night (alluding to my ages ago years playing football in high school and college).  You just felt different, things looked different, and people seemed to treat you differently even though you still had the regular daily activities on deck, not to mention more practice.

So, I think Elizabeth and I are in a pretty good place for Saturday night.  We haven’t peaked yet, as there are some tweaks to still work out with costume and such, but we are definitely ready!  I can’t tell you how much relief I’m going to feel when this is all wrapped up, but I can also tell you that I’m going to miss it even more.

Elizabeth and I have had a great couple months working together and I think we can both say that we’ve learned a lot.  I look forward to continuing to work with Elizabeth, Ben, and others in other aspects of life as even though “the show must go on….” there’s more to life than just “the show”.

I’m likely to post just once more before Saturday evening, and then there will certainly be the after-show post.  I so appreciate all the support that we’ve received.  We have raised over $126,500 and I am confident with this last week’s push we will go much higher.  Its an honor to dance in support of the Charlotte Ballet and all the previous, current, and future patients of the Levine Children’s Hospital.
